Easter spent here.

back from our stay on the river. the view north, east, west when the mozzies weren't eating you alive.

we played scrabbled. twice. i lost. twice. i do love a little weekend getaway.

nothing like toasted marshmallows by the river to warm the soul...

I'm back.

And tired. It's so lovely to go on holiday. But it's so nice to come home. I love home. I am most definitely a home body. I once read the definition of a home body... "A person who prefers pleasures and activities that centre around the home". That's me. I can't remember where I read it, so I do apologise to the author! Anyway. Like I said I'm tired. So. 'Till tomorrow. But. I can not resist sharing with you a friend I made whilst on holiday. He was so kind. And so green. I love green. I think it is the colour of nature. He (at least I think it was a he, he had that 'he' look about him!) He let me try all of my different settings out on my new camera, which resulted in about 40 photos. He was smiling from photos 1 through to 20. After that. He was over it. I don't blame him really.

I did do other things on my holiday. Other than play with a green tree frog. Like I said.
