a tutu
a tutu. made (in advance) by her mama for her second birthday. the bump in my belly will most likely be born very close to her birthday, hence the need for some pre birthday crafting.
this is so simple. i loved making this. found here, via my pinterest.

her breakfast
we love breakfast 'round here. but sometimes it is the most challenging meal to come up with some new ideas. i thought i might share some of our morning meals, so you can share some of yours...
::scrambled organic eggs with baby spinach
::granola with yogurt and fresh fruit
::porridge with rice milk, maple syrup and sultanas
::almond, coconut and maple baked granola with yogurt and banana (from here)
other things we love are smoothies, tea (yes, she loves a little herbal tea with her mama,)baked beans on toast, quinoa porridge with cinnamon, honey and banana, toast with tahini and mashed banana and dippy eggs.

easter: gifts
for easter this year, i used egg cartons, decorated them with pretty paper, and filled them with goodies inside. home-made chocolates using bunny moulds, and chocolate truffles (and when i didn't have enough, some little cadbury eggs!) i used this recipe to make the truffles, so easy, and added my own little twist. yum.
(my own twist: i did two batches, one milk, one dark chocolate. i added peppermint essence and chopped up mint patties to the dark truffles, and chopped turkish delight to the milk chocolate)
